About WCEF

A national platform advancing Western Canada’s economic future.

What is WCEF?

The Western Canada Economic Forum is a not-for-profit organization created to showcase the strength of the Western Canadian economy and build new partnerships for growth.

WCEF brings together leaders from business, government, Indigenous organizations, economic development, and industry to discuss the opportunities shaping Western Canada’s future.

Why it matters

Western Canada plays a critical role in Canada’s economic future — from energy, agriculture, natural resources, and trade to innovation, investment, infrastructure, and Indigenous economic development.

WCEF creates a national stage for the conversations, partnerships, and ideas needed to support long-term growth across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

ACROSS WESTERN CANADA

To date, WCEF has brought leaders together in Calgary, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg, creating a growing platform for regional collaboration and national economic dialogue.
